As the year comes to a close, we found that the total number of sales in the Treasure Lake are lower year to date that 2020  Jan 1 to Dec 22, 2020   There were  136 this year and 153 last year.     There were 67 active listings in Dec of 2020 which was typical for this time of the year.  This year there are only 13.   This is where the closing difference is.      The lack of inventory  follows suite with the rest of the country.  That is unusual for our area.     But Treasure lake has been found, and the beauty and relaxed living in  the area has been a desire of many.

The DuBois area has also seen the same market results.   There were 157 closed transactions in the DuBois Area School district  in 2020 and 194 in 2021.  There are currently 19 on the market   down from 98 the year before.
