Hi Carol, Could my husband and I qualify for the 8,000.00 tax credit still. I know it probably is over, but do you know of any extension, also, this will be our first home to mortgage. Kellee, Unfortunately the tax credit has been gone for some time however, with the interest rate still great, it is definitely the time to buy. The rates rose a bit last month but they are back down. A buyer for your trailer will be the more difficult part of your move. It is now difficult to finance a trailer. Make sure you have the title to your trailer. That will also be a hurdle in selling the mobile home. The first step is to get pre qualified with a mortgage company.
